Marie Myers Park

An undeveloped city park within Knoxville’s Urban Wilderness

This passive, wooded park is preserved as a public nature sanctuary. As an integral connector for the Urban Wilderness, the flowing two-mile trail through the park links William Hastie Natural Area to the trails at Ross Marble Quarry at Ijams Nature Center. The Red Bud Crest trail, which leads to Baker Creek Preserve via a pedestrian and bicycle bridge over E. Red Bud Road, begins in Marie Myers Park.

Directions: Take I-40 to the James White Parkway across the river. Take the Moody Ave exit (last exit) and turn left onto Sevierville Pike. Go approximately 2 miles and turn right onto Margaret Rd, which dead-ends at the park.

Parking and Trailhead: There is no parking at Marie Myers Park
