Grammy-nominated recording artist Jim Brickman never stops working, even after he takes his final bow at a concert. After 15 successful years in the music business, Jim¹s career continues to take on new directions and grow.

This Christmas season, Brickman is creating a ³Beautiful World² for audiences seeking an escape from the hectic demands of the holiday season.
In a very special concert, Jim and guests present an evening of dazzling solo piano, vibrant vocals plus warmth and humor. Jim weaves together new and old traditional holiday favorites, all the hits and songs from Beautiful World, his highly anticipated CD/ DVD released on September 15.

Beautiful World is inspired by Jim¹s unique gift of bridging borders and cultural divides through his music. An uplifting studio album featuring the century old Shaker hymn, ³Simple Gifts², ³Beautiful World (We¹re All Here)² with Adam Crossley, already topping the radio charts, 12 new Brickman songs and a remake of the popular song ³What The World Needs Now Is Love² performed live by Jon Secada, Melinda Doolittle, Orla Fallon, Mark Masri, Arthur Hanlon, Anne Cochran, Tracy Silverman, David Klinkenberg, Adam Crossley and Dala.

³Throughout my travels, I¹ve had the chance to meet some great friends through music. With this CD and DVD we share a message of hope, peace, and friendship through the international language of music.² Jim states. ³A collection of brand new music and old treasured classics, along with its uplifting message, makes this album very special to me.²

Complementing the album is a landmark DVD special, a lush and intimate concert celebrating the way music connects and unites people. Shot in high-definition at the Fallsview Casino & Resort in Niagara Falls ON, the live audience was thrilled with extraordinary performances, new music, and witty banter. Sharing the stage with Jim are world-renowned guest stars including Latin superstar Jon Secada, American Idol¹s Melinda Doolittle, former member of Celtic Woman Orla Fallon, pop Latin pianist Arthur Hanlon, Celtic Violinist David Klinkenberg, Canadian singing sensation Mark Masri, plus fan favorites Anne Cochran and Tracy Silverman.

³I had such amazing talent celebrating Beautiful World with me, all of whom brought something a little bit different from wherever they were from.² Jim says. ³It¹s a concert special where the viewers can sit back, relax and let the music take them wherever they want to go.²

Beautiful World, Jim¹s fourth special for Public Television made its debut in early August, with Jim traveling across the country to each city in which it played. Beautiful World is a perfect return to PBS after Jim¹s seven-year absence. ³I grew up watching PBS.² Jim says. ³It influenced me as a musician because I was able to see great performances that were not otherwise available to me. And of course, I grew up with Sesame Street - and we all know how that turned out!²
